Our Mission
To restore the civic pride and promote the growth and development of the Parish of Portland and its people in order to preserve and enhance our natural environment and showcasew our cultural heritage for the economic benefit of the Parish.
Primary Objectives
To organise a week of activities as a major social and cultural event around the promotion of tourism and appreciation of the natural beauty of the Parish
To strenghth the ties of kinship and friendship between Portlanders, well-wishers and friends islandwide and overseas.
To promote and stimulate the development of economic activity in the Parish.
To increase focus on Portland as a major tousit resort area.
To encourage Portlanders and Friends island-wide and overseas to recognize investment oppurtunities within the Parish.
To promote Portland's authentic cuisine e.g. Boston Jerk Pork, and other traditional products to national and international markets.
